This page shows the exact opt-in form and consent language that appears on the appointment booking form at roarscheduler.com. It is reproduced here so it can be reviewed directly, without stepping through the booking flow. Consent to receive texts is optional and is not required to book.

Step 4 of 4 · Your details (example)

Request time with ROAR staff — opt-in form

The checkbox above is unchecked by default. A person actively checks it to consent. This form is shown after choosing a staff member, an appointment type, and a time on the live site; the fields above are filled with example values for illustration only.

Text messages are sent by Brian Snell, an individual who meets with people by appointment for music instruction, auditions, and advising. This page documents exactly how people consent to receive those messages.

Where and how opt-in happens

Opt-in is collected only on the public appointment booking form at https://roarscheduler.com (no login required). A person chooses a staff member, an appointment type, and an available time, then on the details form (shown above) enters their mobile number and checks the optional consent box.

This is the only way people opt in

The consent checkbox above is the single opt-in method for this messaging program. There is no keyword opt-in, no paper or verbal opt-in, and no purchased, shared, or transferred lists. Consent is collected directly by Brian Snell, for messages sent only by Brian Snell, at the moment the person books their own appointment.

What messages are sent

Only appointment-related messages to the person who booked: confirmation that the appointment was approved, reminders, and status updates. Example:

“Brian Snell (ROAR Scheduler): you're confirmed with Brian A. Snell on Thu, Jul 16 at 3:30 PM ET. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Mobile numbers and messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates.

Opting out

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help and contact information. Opting out of texts does not affect email notifications or the appointment itself.
